Many of the borders have already decorated their stalls. If you would like to participate in the Stall Decoration Contest, you still have time. We will judge the stalls this Saturday Dec 21st @ 2PM.

Helping Our Community
On Dec 22nd Brandywine and the Young Riders 4-H group will prepare food for a group of 13 homeless people in our area. We will leave the barn around 2 pm on Sunday Dec 22nd to deliver the food.
New CHSC Show Season
The next CHSC show season will start in 2014 on Feb 1st - Location TBD. 2014 is already shaping up to be a very busy year. We are still finalizing the dates and locations for all the CHSC shows. When we have the schedule finalized, we will post the date here.

Brandywine attends Sedgefield Show in Greensboro
On Aug 18th, Brandywine attended the Sedgefield Late Summer Horse Show. All the contestants had a great time. Brandywine ended the day with 2 Champions and 3 Reserve Champions. Congratulations to all the contestants!
Please join us in congratulating our 2013 North Carolina 4-H Delegation on their successful showing at the 2012 Southern Regional 4-H Horse Judging Championship held in West Monroe, Louisiana. On July 29 through July 31, 4-H members from 13 different states competed in equine educational events including youth Horse Judging, Horse Bowl, Hippology, Individual and Team Demonstration and Public Speaking. Two Teams of 4 individuals per team represented North Carolina this year and were coached by Debbie Barham Campbell. The North Carolina 4-H Horse Program swept both the 1st and 2nd place Overall High Team Score for the event. Congratulations to all the individuals and Debbie on such a great showing.
Are you ready for Spring yet? We are! And, we're excited to announce that this year we'll be having a 2013 Spring Equestrian Camp!!

We're off to a busy start to
2013. On Saturday, January 5th, we took some of our horses and
riders to a Fox Hunt! This was a first time experience for most of
our girls and their horses and we are very thankful to have had a fun and save event.
We're looking forward to a great year show year and a successful
learning year with all of our students. If you would like to start
lessons, improve or further your current riding, or just find a great,
relaxed place to ride please give us a call!
You’ve reached the internet home of Brandywine Springs South Stables.For the past 20 years, Brandywine has been meeting the needs of horse owners and riders in Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus, and surrounding counties, North Carolina. Owner and trainer Debbie Barham Campbell offers lessons and boarding at the 29-stall facility, along with sprawling pastures, riding trails, arena, and jumping course. Also the home of the Award-winning Young Riders 4-H Club, you can't go wrong if you're looking for a kid-friendly place to ride or board your horse.

Brandywine is also part of the Carolina Horse Show Circuit. CHSC is an open horse show circuit for all ages to attend and compete. All are welcome. CHSC is a very relaxed, enjoyable show circuit created by the rider, with the rider's pleasure in mind.
